Hi, I am Debbie Stoffregen, the owner of Catch the Wave Swim Club. Thank you for taking the time to visit our website. We are a local, family-owned business with a dedication to serving the community through teaching water safety skills and providing services that improve health and quality of life. We offer lessons in our South Beloit facility and additional locations to serve the Rockford, Roscoe, Rockton, Loves Park, Machesney Park, and Beloit areas. I have been teaching children to swim for over 15 years. I personally train each and every one of my staff in our innovative learn-to-swim program that focuses on teaching children to be safe around water and the fundamental methods to start swimming with success. We treat each child as if our own, with compassion and understanding, using gentle techniques. We find that in doing so, the children look forward to lessons and are eager to learn. I've tried several other local programs and we just were not making progress. Within a few lessons, Catch the Wave's fun and gentle program worked to ease my child's anxiety by teaching him the correct breathing and floating techniques. He now loves the water and is well on his way to swimming independently. I couldn't be happier!
