What's going on at Catch the Wave?

Catch the Wave has opened inside the Sweden House.    Lessons here are only $40.00  or $50.00 per month (based on the number of weeks) and as always there is no registration fee.

CTW would also like to inform all of our customers that we now except VISA, Matercard, American Express, Mastercard and Discover for your convenience.  We can keep a card on file and that means you no longer have to remember to bring a check book with you.

Team Penguin came in 5th place in the Rockford Summer Swim Conference  for 2009.  Way to go Penguins!

March 2008

 Warren K.  - Age 5

      After learning to swim with the Catch the Wave curriculum at J&J in Pecatonica Warren and his family went on vacation to the Wisconsin Dells.  During their visit to the indoor water park, Warren decided to go down one of the big tube slides.  When he hit the water the current kept him from lifting his head up to breath.  Remembering what he had learned in swim class, Warren rolled over onto his back and began to call for help.  Way to go Warren! 

April 2008

Nicolas M. - Age 7

     Nicolas and his family were on spring vacation.  They were staying in a hotel in Arkansas where Nicolas met a little friend who was 5 years old.  Nicolas, who has taken several lessons from Catch the Wave, jumped into the deep end of the pool.  The little 5 year old boy followed and could not swim that well.  Nicolas swam over to the boy and pulled him to the wall by his swim shirt.  Way to go Nicolas, our junior lifesaver of the month !
