Facility

Kids love to swim at our brand new facility!

Our new facility is located at 1917 Blackhawk Blvd in South Beloit, Illinois, just one block north of Prairie Hill Road and Wendy’s. It is just a short drive from Roscoe, Rockton and Beloit, and is just minutes from 251 and  I-90 for those coming from Rockford.

The Pool

Our new 20 X 50 foot swimming pool is warm and inviting. The pool features swim teaching docks, a salt water system and an endless current.  Swim training in an endless current is like swimming in open water – no turns, no shared lanes, no stopping. By eliminating turns you get a better understanding of your true open water endurance.  Young swimmers can enjoy playing and “surfing” the smooth, river-like, fully-adjustable swim current.

The Lobby

To start, the modern front lobby is designed with comfort in mind.  Parents or caregivers can view swimmers on a big screen TV while relaxing on one of the sofas. Or they can also choose to utilize the café tables for  laptop use – Catch The Wave provides free Wi-Fi. The reception desk is located in the lobby. Our friendly staff will coordinate your swim lessons and birthday parties. Swim accessories, team apparel,  and snacks can all be purchased here.

Many parents, choose to watch swim lessons directly from the viewing room. This space is light and bright with windows to view the pool. The boys and girls restrooms are equipped with changing areas and showers.

You’ll notice the front of our facility looks like a home, that is because it is!  Debbie’s son, Catch the Wave’s general manager, Brandon and his family reside at the home. This provides our facility with onsite security as well. When we say we are a family business, we really are!
