A FREE event at Catch the WAVE SWIM CLUB!!!!Saftey Days at Catch the Wave Swim Club

Nov. 13 and Dec. 10—11:30am-1:30pm

When a child falls into the water, they usually do not fall in the pool with their swim suits and goggles on. We actually have the kids come to the pool with clothes on over their swim suit. This is a really a different feeling. We have them wear their heaviest clothes that will weight them down the most. Tennis shoes, jackets, jeans, sweatshirts. Kids can swim great out of the water but when they fall into the water with their clothes, this is a really different feeling and they do not know what to do. Sometimes they panic. A Catch the Wave instructor will be there and gently talk them through this.

Salt Water Pool–

Our new facility opening this Spring will be a Salt Water pool. Salt Water Pools are natural, good for the environment, do not damage hair or swimwear, and are healthier too. Chlorine irritates the respiratory system, increasing the likelihood of developing asthma and respiratory allergies such as hay fever. Chlorine is also irritating to skin and eyes. Salt water feels better on the skin, just like an Epsom Salt Bath!

Catch the Wave makes the rrstar

Catch the Wave recently made an appearance in the rrstar. The facility is moving along smoothly. As you can see from the photo we have walls. We are waiting to hear back from the state as to our approval to put in the pool…say a prayer. We are hopeful to be opening our doors late March or early April. Thank you too all of you for your continued patience while we build the new facility.
