Our Intermediate class is the perfect next step for young swimmers who are comfortable in the water and ready to develop crucial skills for independent swimming. This class focuses on mastering breath control, a fundamental aspect of swimming, and refining body positioning in the water. Through consistent practice, students will learn the essential "Swim-Float-Swim" sequence, a vital technique for safety and endurance.
What to Expect

Perfected Breath Control: Your child will gain confidence and control over their breathing while swimming, a critical skill for any swimmer.

Independent "Swim-Float-Swim": Students will learn to seamlessly transition between swimming, floating on their backs, and resuming swimming – a key safety and endurance skill.

Enhanced Body Positioning: Your child will learn how to accurately rotate and position their body in the water, leading to more efficient swimming.

Introduction to Front and Back Crawl: The basics of these essential strokes will be introduced, building a foundation for future development.

Increased Safety: Your child will be able to jump into the pool, surface independently, float on their back for an extended period, and call for help.
Prerequisites

Comfort in the water, easily putting their face in and out of the water.

Ability to roll from stomach to back, with minimal assistance from the instructor if needed.
